It was late this afternoon when the first snowfall of the season arrived. The crisp air carried a new sharpness, and the sky wore a soft blanket of grey. Tiny snowflakes swirled and danced to the ground, some dissolving as they touched the grass, while others clung to rooftops and the cars, leaving a light dusting.
I stood at the window, my coffee in hand, smiling at the sight. “It’s so peaceful,” I thought. But secretly hoping that it doesn’t stay on the ground. I’m not ready for winter to settle in yet.
I stood there for a while staring out the window and just reflecting, knowing that 2024 would soon end and wondering what 2025 is going to bring me.
